Quick charge 2.0/4.0

Considering quick charge 2.0 is a few years old, Is the Note 8 limited to quick charge 2.0 or does 3.0 and 4.0 work as well?

Both. The HW must support the specified Watt supply and the SW must allow it (since you can disable Quick Charge in the settings with a simple toggle)

Hey @Diamondcut33, since Galaxy Note 8 is limited to QC 2.0, even if you use QC 3.0 or 4.0, the result will be same as QC 2.0

So the note 8 does not have the hardware?because there are other phones that are 4.0 capable and are running on 835 snapdragon. So I'm wondering if it may just be a software thing and we may get an update later.
