The so called improvements are a joke. Thought I was upgrading. I used to be able to charge the phone and listen with my headset. Now I have to have an adapter. No O2 sensor or HR sensor so would need to spend even more money for another device. Ridiculous. They are going to lose my business at this rate. Have owned several Samsung phones and this is the first time I have been disappointed with my choice to stay with them
@keagan, rumor is rumor. Also I can see that since 3.5mm jack has been removed by some phones, headphones not come with the phone seems to be right. But remove the charger...Eeek, this is not a good idea. Let say if I am a new user, I think charger is the necessary. :)
I have a feeling it's going to happen soon. I have a feeling samsung is looking for more ways to bring down costs for the users. I likely in response to poor demand and sales and sticker shock.
if they ever decide to remove the charger there should be an option to buy the phone with a charger (a bit more expensive) or the "standard" option with no charger (which should be less expensive than the with charger option) a decide that does not come with USB C headphones.....that I can see happening very soon.
