Hi.
I have a Galaxy Note 8 with terrible screen burn-in. Was there a recall for a new screen replacement? This seems to be a factory issue, so shouldn't some type of factory repair be done at no charge to rectify the issue? The screen burn-in has continually gotten worse......Has anyone had this problem? What did u do? TIA for your help.

Nah. I own my Note8 since I preordered it at launch. No issues since those past 3.5 years on screen/performance except battery which has degraded to barely 4.5 hours SOT.

In most cases screen burn in is the result of having the brightness set too high for extended periods of time. burn in hasn't really been an issue since the early note phones.

Nope, I had Note 8 since launch day. Still good as new. No recall for this item.

Note 7 on the other hand LOL

Hi iluvsamsung,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. As mentioned by RedDogRabbit "In most cases, screen burn in is the result of having the brightness set too high for extended periods of time. burn-in hasn't really been an issue since the early note phones. "

Please get the device examined by the authorized Samsung service center to determine the root cause of the issue. Samsung provides 12 months of warranty. However, the physical and liquid damages will not be covered in the warranty.

No burn in issues with my screens since the note edge and note 9. Depends on your usage and brightness I have a friend who had a note 8 since launch and just saw very horrible screen burn from YouTube. Then again his usage was almost 10 hours of screen on time. Versus my 4 to 6 hours.
