Galaxy NoteI deselected automatic time zone and auto date/time and set them manually. If I return it to automatic, the timezone and local time would be offset by two hours
I checked if this was a problem with the network provider. I found that my friend's S8 which is on the same network has no issues.
Has anyone experienced this?. How can I resolve this?.

Galaxy Note1. the network your on responsible for setting time has possible issues
2. your clock is not set for eastern daylight savings (choose New York)
If you have an old phone, pop the same SIM into it and check the time to rule out network fault.
