Alarm while device turned off

Hi, just got 5 days ago got Samsung  Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. Will the alarm work even if the device is turned off? Since I've been trying since five nights! It just disappointed me! Can anyone knows about that?

alarm cannot work while the phone is turned off. I suggest using Do not Disturb mode. I use it at night and it blocks everything except calls and notifications that I allow

but my question is why they not included this simple feature? that means we have to always power on?

yes power has to be on, and as far as why I'm not sure, I don't know if its because of the new OS or batteries or something .. I know my old BlackBerry used to be able to turn off and then the alarm still worked but for me that was years ago

When the mobile device is turned off, the alarm will no longer work and that was a good suggestion.

As a moderator do you know if I or you raise the issue to the authority of this customized OS Project Director would it be there solve the problem for next OS version?
