Device was working fine until I upgrade my software to android 11 yesterday, now everything is messed up not able to install apps from outside of playstore, not able to even do ingame purchase keep saying payment method decline in every payment method I can use which is impossible and working in other devices with older version of Android.
Anyone know how to downgrade this android 11 to android 10?

Strange, I don't see any "bugs", & I can do everything that I was able to do on one ui v2.5.

Android 11 is a pretty big update, & I always do a factory reset after an android version update, never had any problems.

Maybe backup your phone & factory reset.

Merry Christmas.

I am a bit confused, or ignorant. Isn't factory reset supposed to reset the phone back to the original state when it first come out of the box, meaning losing all system updates? Thanks!

No a factory reset doesn't uninstall any system / android version updates, but it will remove all user added apps. So you should use smart switch to backup your phone before you factory reset it. You can then use smart switch to restore your settings & user apps, as well as images & documents saved to the internal storage, nothing saved to the external sd card will be touched.

And yes, a factory reset will return your phone to how it was when you first received it, but android version will not revert to the previous version.

You'll have to sign in to your Google & Samsung accounts as you did when you first got the phone, but using smart switch will restore your apps, settings etc.

Thanks for the explanation! Good to know. I have been refraining from resetting due to erroneous perception.

Hey Sajan11,
Please follow the suggestions provided by RedDogRabbit and get back to us with the results.
You need to perform the factory data reset on your device after back up the device data on a computer using the Smart switch software. Make sure that you have removed the configured accounts from your phone before going to perform a factory data reset otherwise it will be locked with one of the configured accounts and it will erase all the device data.

Here is the Smart switch link: https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-back-up-your-devi...
You can find the factory data reset option under the General management of the device settings.
Thanks, RedDogRabbit for providing the information.

I use smart switch to backup my phone to the external sd card. I find it to be faster & easier.

I have never had any problems with not removing my account from my phone before I factory reset & after restoring with smart switch from the SD card, I've never lost any data, or anything else.
