Android Pie Update

So, I gotta ask, what exactly is the big hype with Pie? It seems like Oreo was JUST released last year? I've googled what the big differences are- can't really find much. I haven't seen much about what, if any difference, the new icons look like. Anyone here running pie?

I think it's more of a "keeping up with the Jones" thing for those not on One UI lol. I loved the Samsung Experience redesign. professional and clean. Wish they would just expand on it rather than a big UI change. I'm on Oreo with Note 8 but I'll update anyway lol.

1 thing I love about oneui is you can get rid of the nav bar and just swipe up on the appropriate spot where the nav would be. Love no buttons and no nav =
More screen. Can also always sleep app, change notifications on lock screen and now it's a universal search, night mode makes it nice on the eyes at night too. I like oneui 😊
