Galaxy SLook in your quick settings pull down menu for either portrait or auto rotate. If set in portrait mode it doesn't show as auto rotate in the menu so choose it and set to auto rotate

Galaxy SHi Deevvv,
Since the auto-rotate icon is missing from the Quick Settings, it could be hidden or accidentally removed. Here's how to check and restore it:
- Swipe down to open the Quick Settings Panel.
- Tap on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner and select Edit.
- Look for the Auto Rotate icon and drag it back into your Quick Settings.
- Once restored, try tapping it to enable auto-rotation.
Thank you.
