Idk if its just me, but my Galaxy S24's battery has been performing real bad for the past month. This started to happen after I updated to One UI 7. My friend has a Galaxy A55 and he experienced similar problems, but he resetted his phone and that seemed to fix it. On my case sadly I don't wanna reset my phone because I have alot of important stuff. Is there any instant solution for this bug? Or should I wait for Samsung to release a new security update?

Hi lrd_ooga,

We are sorry to hear that your'e experiencing battery drain issues on One UI 7, especially after the recent update.

Please try the below steps and see if it might help:

Wipe Cache Partition: Turn off your phone > Press and hold Power + Volume Up > Select Wipe cache partition (no data loss). This can help clean up leftover system files from the update.

Check Battery Usage: Settings > Battery > Usage since last full charge. Look for apps or services draining unusually high battery and restrict background usage if needed.

Disable Nearby Device Scanning & Adaptive Power Sharing. These sometimes remain active post-update and consume extra battery. Found in: Settings > Connections > More connection settings.

Turn Off Always On Display or Limit Widgets on Lock Screen. Reducing lock screen activity can also help extend battery life.

Let us know if the issue persists after trying these we’re happy to help further!

Thank you.
