Deleting photos

Can someone please explain in the simplest terms, the whole after September 21/21 date when photos will no longer be saved?? I may be over thinking it but I just don't understand. 🥴 thank you.

What do you mean by that? Do you got error message when photo not save? Are you able to screenshot your problem?

Hi, A number of changes are being made to the services offered by Samsung Cloud in 2021. ‘Gallery Sync’, ‘My Files’, and Premium storage accounts are being discontinued and replaced by Microsoft OneDrive.

You’ll need to back up ‘My files’ and ‘Gallery Sync’ from Samsung Cloud as soon as possible so that you can keep all of the photos, videos, and files that you want.

Your data associated with these features will be deleted permanently from the Samsung Cloud servers when these changes are completed.

So if we have it backed on our google accounts, it should be safe right? Our data won't be deleted? Because I find that not all of my photos are being backed up on my one drive

Yes, Google Backup & Google Photos Backup are completely independent of Samsung Cloud & One Drive.

You can also backup your images with Samsung's Smart Switch to your computer or the external sd card if you have one.

If you're talking about Samsung Cloud,

• Samsung just extended the deadline for when the Samsung Cloud service will end.
• You have until November 30, 2021, to save your files, but you only have until October to migrate them easily to OneDrive.
• After November 30, Samsung will delete all your saved data.
