All over YouTube I see people suggesting to change the above setting in the device. Could Samsung please comment whether this would be technically detrimental to the device? When I change to 0 secs, the outcome becomes horrible and I think it doesn't like it at all. So would 0.5 secs push the processor or anything on the chip set to not like it?

It's not going to hurt the processor, might increase the battery drain.

I personally wouldn't be paying much attention to the "experts" on YouTube.. But if you think that it looks better.. go for it.

What device do you have?

Normally, there shouldn't be any noticeable benefits to turning animations off, unless you have a device that has an inadequate processor, or Kernel settings are not where they should be.

Since we can no longer Root most Samsung phones, these tweaks aren't possible any longer.. not to mention that most people didn't understand what they were doing.

S22 ultra. I've been using it for years. Window and transition scale is opens faster. Animator is how fast the app take to buff and download that why I kept it at 0.5. 👍🏾

0.5 seconds is what I use. Plenty fast enough transitions. Battery life isn't affected.
