Good evening samsung members. I am using s21 ultra (USA firmware). Is there any way to change it to Canadian firmware to get OTA updates?

You can "turn your device into a Canadian device", by Flashing the Full Canadian Firmware with Patched Odin.

At some point in the process, you will have to Factory Reset, so if you decide to proceed, backup your device FIRST!

Use Frija to download the Canadian Firmware to your computer.

Extract it to a folder on your computer's desktop.

Download & install Samsung's USB drivers to your computer.

Download & install PATCHED Odin to your computer.

Run Frija & Patched Odin as Administrator.

Yes, you need to use the Canadian Firmware, including the CSC, ie: Rogers is "RWC".

So the model number would be:

SM-G988W

+

RWC *

*If your Carrier is Rogers

don't know the CSC for the other Canadian Carriers.

Yes I know that your device is a Snapdragon variant, from the model number.

If you have "repartition" ticked, it should not be ticked.

You should only have these two items in Odin Options Ticked:

Auto Reboot

F. Reset Time

Can you post a screen shot of the Options in Odin that you have ticked?

You should Flash each of the tar files, individually, one at a time.

ie: insert the BL tar in the BL Slot & click on Start, wait for the PASS, & insert the AP tar in the AP Slot & click on Start, wait for the PASS & the same for the last 2 tar files.
