Since I'm working from home every day now, I'm on wifi at all times now. I notice when I try to send a pic through text, that it doesn't send. It's because my phone for whatever reason stops switching over to data when needed. I'll turn off wifi to test it and it doesn't connect to my mobile network (Virgin Mobile in Canada). "Mobile Data" is always turned on in the settings.

I'll reboot the phone, data starts working fine again, I'll turn off wifi to test and it connects to data immediately. Then later in the day, again it stops switching over to data until I reboot the phone. Toggling the "Mobile Data" slider doesn't work either. Only a restart from what I've tried so far. I made sure the SIM card is in properly.

Is there a setting I'm missing that can fix this or something else that I am missing?

i have same issue. When being connected to WiFi for a couple of hours, my phone does not connect anymore to the mobile network. What helps for me is to turn airplane mode on and off to reconnect to the mobile network. this is however not a fix of the issue, which i am still hoping to find

I am having this problem too. Not necessarily with pictures but if I'm on wifi for an extended amount of time I will lose data services.  Turning on/off the phone or airplane mode should not be a fix. I shouldn't be doing this for such a pricey phone
