I received OTA update and upgraded to android 12 and One UI 4.0 with no issue on my S21 Ultra. But I noticed after the update, the google playstore is not  updating some existing apps and throws an error when I try to do so.

Error it shows is "Can't install (App Name), Try again, if it still doesn't work, see common ways to fix the problem".

I have cleared cache and data on all google play services, but still the same issue.

Apparently this is a common issue that is being experience.

Can you please advise on a fix?

Have same issue after the update. And no, factory reset did not fix the issue. Still not able to update or install many apps from play store.

If you updated to One UI V4.0, it's possible that there's an issue with the update.

You will probably have to wait for a Hot Fix or an Update to correct the problem.

Please see the 2 screen shots for more information.

Try this, it worked for me (S10+):

1) Go to ..\\Setting\App\Google Play Store\Storage and clear cache + clear storage.

2) Disable Google Play Store App

3) Reboot phone

4) Re-enable Google Play Store App

I have successfully resolved this issue on my Galaxy S21 Exynos phone. Do not need to factory reset your phone.

1) Go to ..\\Setting\App\Google Play Store\Storage and clear cache + clear storage.

2) Disable Google Play Store App

3) Reboot phone

4) Re-enable Google Play Store App

I just tried this, having the same problem and doing what I've seen to help, it worked for me so far. Was able to update my apps and download new ones. I will put a update if things change for me.

Initially, I didn't think this had worked but after 5 minutes or so, normal.app update/download behaviour did resume.  Thanks for the solution!

Awesome, this really worked for me. The 3rd step is the key, because I had tried this several times without rebooting, now it is working properly. Many thanks

This solution worked for me with my Z fold 3. But the problem comes back after a regular phone restart (without disable/enable play store app). Hope Samsung can fix it.
