Manual software update issue

I have bought samsung galaxy s8 a week ago, device currently running on nugget 7.0,whenever ,i try to update manual nothing happens option manual update remain unresponsive.
Kindly guide how to update my device.

Just go into your settings...then software update(2nd from bottom) then download software manually...
It should run a check for updates..

Try a Reboot or if it still isn't working - A Factory Reset may be required - But what's the model number of your S8 - Is it SM-G950W or SM-G950F?

I would suggest you read up on flashing a firmware version of Oreo using Odin. just make sure you read carefully on sammobile.com.

Yeah you have the International version & it's not likely to be supported by the Canadian Carriers - Factory Reset isn't likely to fix anything - As @carr0498 suggested - Read up on how to Flash Stock Samsung Firmware with Odin 3.13.1 - But since you have an Unlocked Bootloader - You can Flash pretty much whatever you want - If you know how 😉🕊️
