Galaxy SI live in Toronto, but have been working in Europe for a few months. In August, my beloved S20 was stolen at a bar in Budapest.
I bit the bullet and paid nearly $2k for a new S21+ Ultra in Budapest. Had to - can't be without a phone! Now I'm back home, and it's acting up. The microphone doesn't work properly, it drops calls constantly and crashes when I try to make a call with headphones plugged in.
And now Samsung says it doesn't honour international warranties. So I'm SOL? On top of the premium I had to pay to replace my phone in Europe, I get no warranty coverage? Really, Samsung? This is supposedly an international company.
I've been a loyal Galaxy user since S4. I've had several models and have loved them all. Now I'm thinking of leaving Samsung permanently if they can't actually solve my problem.
I'm posting here because there's no way to get a hold of anyone at Samsung, really, is there?
I'm heartbroken and disappointed in Samsung.

Galaxy SI am in the same situation with my S21+ that has a permanent black screen, purchased new Mar 21. The Hong Kong Samsung support will only review my phone if I physically go to a Hong Kong repair centre (I live in the UK). They will not accept the phone by post.
Has anyone discovered a way forward for solving this sort of problem?

Galaxy SGuess that you could always just send them the phone by FedEx or something. That's what I'd likely do, unless I was planning a trip..

Galaxy SWell, I won't get stung. I was about to buy the S24+ in Qatar but was told no international warranty, worse, warranty only applies in Qatar. I thought they must be kidding but I think I will go back to the XiaoMi or look at the Pixel now.

Galaxy SThe international variant is a slightly different device from what is available in North America... So there's that.
