I live in Toronto, but have been working in Europe for a few months. In August, my beloved S20 was stolen at a bar in Budapest.

I bit the bullet and paid nearly $2k for a new S21+ Ultra in Budapest. Had to - can't be without a phone! Now I'm back home, and it's acting up. The microphone doesn't work properly, it drops calls constantly and crashes when I try to make a call with headphones plugged in.

And now Samsung says it doesn't honour international warranties. So I'm SOL? On top of the premium I had to pay to replace my phone in Europe, I get no warranty coverage? Really, Samsung? This is supposedly an international company.

I've been a loyal Galaxy user since S4. I've had several models and have loved them all. Now I'm thinking of leaving Samsung permanently if they can't actually solve my problem.

I'm posting here because there's no way to get a hold of anyone at Samsung, really, is there?

I'm heartbroken and disappointed in Samsung.

One thing that Samsung SHOULD copy from Apple!

Apple does have an International Warranty!

Another one bite the dust thanks to Samsung. They're no longer the company they used to be.

I would also like to know why they do not honor the warranty from another country? I think it's because they give other countries certain features and not others. For example the built in FM radio no longer functions in North America but does in India and Australia.

What's interesting is that Samsung seems to have an International Warranty for mobile computers, but not mobile phones?

I've now tried to get help from 3 Samsung stores (one in Toronto, one in Edmonton and one in Waterloo). I've done everything in the book, I've offered more than 100% discount, I've begged, pleaded, pleaded, cajoled, and threatened. But it's like they don't even want to listen to me, when the phone is in their possession. And all I get are condescending answers, in English of course.

This is what I'm talking about. They're not answering to someone with "issues" who's actually the rightful owner of the phone. No, no. They are being "nice" to me by not being condescending, and that's exactly what's giving them a bad name in my book. If I go into a store with something like this, I'm treated like I'm an **bleep**. They don't see me as a customer, they see me as an inconvenience, a problem that needs to be

You're the dolt who spent 2 grand on a phone 🤣🤣. No sympathy. Your generation is seriously mentally disabled. "Hey here's the same phone for 10 years, let's see how many losers we can keep brainwashed and buying the same S5 for 10 years."

Bro Samsung and Apple are jokes because they were funded by a generation of people like you who don't understand money.
