No longer able to connect to my outgoing mail server

Used to work.  Suddenly stopped and I can't seem to fix it.  Error message I get is "could't verify account. server does not support authentication.  Try to reinstall address and get the same message.  Any help would be appreciated

Can you try setup your account using Exchange ActiveSync?

The regular email account (red with white envelope)

What I mean is ... are you connect your email server using POP? Exchange ActiveSync? Which email server you try to connect? Gmail? Outlook.com?...etc.
