Did an update yesterday to Android 15. Now my phone has IMS System stopping issues, sluggish performance, battery overheating and drainage issues.

Hi,

We’re really sorry to hear you’re feeling this way about the One UI 7 update — we understand how frustrating it can be when an update changes your experience in ways that don't work for you.

Unfortunately, Samsung does not officially support downgrading to previous versions like One UI 6, and attempting to do so using unofficial methods could risk your device’s stability, security, and warranty status. Please try the below steps and see if they helps:

Wipe the cache partition. Sometimes after a major update, leftover system files can cause issues.
→ Power off the phone > Hold Volume Up + Power > Select Wipe cache partition > Reboot

Backup and Factory Reset
If issues persist, a full reset can help restore performance.

Send Feedback. Since you're experiencing real frustration, we recommend submitting detailed feedback via the Samsung Members app.→ Members > Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > One UI.
This helps our developers understand and prioritize future fixes.

We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to voice your concerns.

Thank you.

Don't you find it kind of sad that I'm being forced to put my $2000 flagship phone at risk because samsung released garbage with no way to officially fix it?

You probably can't revert to the previous version of One UI.

There's likely been a Bootloader version change, which makes it impossible to go back.

Normally, if the Bootloader version didn't change, you could Download the CORRECT version of the Software you want to your computer, and Manually Flash it with Odin.. But, like I said, it's almost a certainty that the Bootloader version was updated for One UI V7.0, so there's absolutely no way to go back.

I reverted to UI6 by mistake. I was on the U1 firmware so I wanted to flash the Canadian One UI 7 firmware and mistakenly flashed the Canadian OneUI 6. It worked. So I simply did an OTA update to get oneUI 7. Don't know if it will still work now
