Galaxy SHi Ninjask45,
It is unusual to hear that you have been experiencing Bluetooth connectivity issues following the recent update.
Here are a few steps that might help restore proper Bluetooth functionality:
-
Re-Pair the Device:
-
On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings.
-
Find your car’s name and tap “Forget” or “Unpair.”
-
Restart both your phone and car system, then re-pair them.
-
-
Check Bluetooth Profiles:
-
Ensure both “Calls” and “Audio” are enabled in the Bluetooth settings for your car.
-
Sometimes only the “Calls” profile gets activated, which causes the issue you described.
-
-
Clear Bluetooth Cache (Android only):
-
Go to Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Bluetooth > Storage.
-
Tap “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data,” then restart your phone.
-
-
Update Car Firmware (if available):
-
Some car infotainment systems offer firmware updates that improve compatibility with newer phone versions.
-
-
Try Safe Mode (Android):
-
Boot your phone into Safe Mode to check if a third-party app is interfering with Bluetooth. Please follow the below steps to keep the device in safe mode.
-
Power off your phone completely.
-
Press and hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears.
-
Immediately release the Power button and press and hold the Volume Down button.
-
Keep holding until the device boots up.
-
You’ll see “Safe mode” in the bottom corner once it loads.

Galaxy SI'm having the same issue. I've tried the first two suggestions. When I went to try the third (clear bluetooth cache), I don't have "show system apps" in my apps settings. I do have an android.
