Order keeps getting cancelled by samsung

I ordered my galaxy S10 directly from the samsung website on April 21 2019 and at first it looked like my order went through, but after about 10 hours it got cancelled. Called my credit card issuer they said there were no issues on their side. I called samsung customer service numerous times, even contacted them in chat but they all said it was my bank's fault. I used a 10% off SPC discount code which I can only get once, so when I called samsung they reissued me another one a few hours later. I reordred the phone again this time using a different credit card. I called RBC my credit card issuer in advance this time to notify them of my purchase and they reassured me that everything is good to go and there wont be any issues. So I reordered the phone and at first it looked like it went through, but 5 minutes later it got cancelled yet again. The customer support reps have no idea what's going on so they escalated the case and now it's been one day and they don't seem like they care to respond. And yet again my SPC code is rendered useless!!! I get better service in the middle of nowhere!! Absolutely shocking customer service from a big company like samsung!

I'm so sorry that the ordering process has been so difficult for you... that definitely shouldn't be the case! In your situation, it may take a little while for customer support to respond just because they need to wait for their escalation request to be addressed—if you don't get a reply within a few days, you can PM me here on the Samsung Members web community and I'll do my best to get you sorted out 😊

one thing to check is that you're entering your billing info exactly like the CC company expects. example, you may have the address as 676-1173 Green Rd with the CC company, but on the form you put 1173 Green Rd, Apt 676. that would cause it to be cancelled since it didn't match

Can we stop with the whole billing **bleep**. I'm so **bleep** tired of hearing that bs excuse with that dumb **bleep** generic email. I have spent over a grand today trying again and again to make my purchase and again and again they always blame it on billing. It's either the customers fault putting in a typo as if thousands of people are too **bleep** dumb to get there name and address right. If not us it's the banks fault. Never samsungs. Never samsungs. Information couldn't be verified? Well what system do you guys use? It's crazy how nike and Adidas can communicate directly with your bank to send you a code to your phone before an order is placed yet samsung with there billions of dollars can't even hire a half smart tech to implement such a program. The last successful purchase I had was January 29th 2021 which means the system has been canceling my orders for half a year now. HALF A YEARRR and you wanna sit there and say it's a billing issue, maybe you typed something wrong, make sure your name is right, make sure your ...... email matches💀 that's my favorite bc it shows just how clueless these reps are. Email doesn't have to match any system with any merchant in the entire world to make a successful purchase. In fact the only thing that needs to match is the address. He'll the name doesn't even need to match for a successful purchase so I'm so tired of hearing bullcrap excuses. Fix your **bleep** system. Having my orders canceled for over half a year is completely unheard of and uncalled for. It's worth noting that I also made a new account per reps instructions and they placed it for me on that account.... it canceled 🤦‍♂️ amazing. I bet you can guess the excuse! That's right billing info doesn't match. My bank says every single detail to the tiniest thing matched. Even my device digital signature matched when they took a further look into the transaction and yet somehow samsungs systems are so ancient they think its a billing problem💀....Nice.

Lol what a crybaby. In the case of this thread, the OP wasn't putting in the correct info. You have (beyond mental problems) a different issue obviously.

Haha Funny you're being rude to this user. Lots of people are reporting having the same problem as this so called cry baby. I myself keep having this problem as well. Not sure why this keeps happening but so far only paypal seems to work. Not just that but only paypal Balance to be specific bc if you use paypal debit card that also wont work. Comes back as billing error which proves the cry baby above has a point. Makes no sense that paypal balance works bug paypal debit card wont work since they both have same billing info.

thanks I got it all sorted. it didn't work because I had different shipping and billing addresses. this only happens in canada:(
