Another key change from the Oreo upgrade is the Gallery and the way you edit content from it. There are many new tools to discover and a brand new "Pro Editor" was introduced, kinda reminiscent of the "Studio" app in TouchWiz 3 to 3.5 (S5, Note4, A5 2015).

The first new change is the ability to blur and/or pixelate some parts of any image. Useful if, say, you have a problem and ask us members to help you but the problem shows some personal information you shouldn't share away, like your e-mail address, your phone number or your IMEI.

Then the way to add text to images was changed and you get more extensive control over it. Change the font, the font color, the size of the text and it's background.

You may have noticed all over the UI a rectangle with a face on it and the bottom right corner folded up. Stickers are a brand new addition and they are everywhere. Use the built-in stickers or buy new ones from the Galaxy Apps store (there are free ones too of course), and in your pictures too! There are a lot of them available right away so don't hesitate to use them.

There are new "brushes/pens" to manually edit your pics. You now have the choice of 3 brushes (Permanent Markers, Old-fashioned pens and Permanent Markers with glow) and changing the colors is much simpler now. No need to open any settings like before, just slide.

You can now apply filters on your already taken pictures! Use the built in ones or the ones you downloaded from the Galaxy Apps store. Don't worry anymore about taking the right filter at the right time, or see how memories would look like with a touch of magic in it...

Finally, if you want to resize your images, now you have a new Aspect Ratio guideline! It automatically tells you when your resize is of the shape of common aspect Ratio, like 18.5:9, 16:9, 4:3 and 1:1.

That's it for the basic editor. Let's see the Pro mode. .. In the comments since I have no more pictures left to publish on the main post.

The Pro Mode. You have full control over pretty much everything. Change the colors, focus a color in particular, contrast, exposure, saturation...

There is even a tint curb you can mess with. Very neat.

Sure you can change the saturation, the tint and the luminance of the 3 basic colors, but now you can pick particular colors and change them manually! Very amazing.

You can of course decorate the whole thing, and classic, S Note-like crayons, pens and markers are back too.

You can also change the perspective of the picture, flip it back and forth and reverse it as you wish.

You also get new stickers-like text writing and even more precise blurring-pixelation. You can even add pics to your pics!

Access the Pro Mode by tapping the 3 dots in the Gallery

The new Gallery features are really worth looking at.d72cbc41-aa88-499c-86ce-a02592992a80.jpg

Yeah I think that's not possible anymore. Android 7.1.1/Experience 8.5 did save on top of the previous pictures
