When I make a call, then have to use a touch tone prompt service, then if I type a wrong character, then I cannot correct it. I do not see a delete icon anywhere. This is on my S7.

Hi thebrez, don't you have a back button on your keypad? See the attachment screenshot.

If I make a phone call, then yes I do. I'm talking about when you receive a phone call and you are prompted to key in a number, then if you mistype, then you cannot correct it. Btw my delete button is above the number row.

Oh...just like voicemail, if you type the wrong password, you gotta re-type the password or hang up and redial. This is not the phone itself problem. This is the phone system design.

Yeah I think the only way to help this, Is if there is a prompt option like press pound# to enter or press star* to delete, it's not a phone option! It's the touch tone prompt service 🤷♂️
Like most voicemail... Press 7 to delete or press 9 to save 🤷♂️
I don't think voicemail has correction either, again, it's the service, not the device.

its not there because he is an active call. hence the call timer. the call screen is different then dial screen.

that option was removed many versions ago. you used to be able to backspace key prompts in the dial screen. during and active call. that was taken away some time ago!
