Galaxy SYou could try Booting into Safe Mode & see if it continues to happen. If it doesn't, then it's likely a 3rd party app causing the issue.
If it continues to happen while in Safe Mode, you could try Wiping Cache from recovery, see if that works?
Only other thing that you can do yourself, would be to Backup your phone with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.
If it still happens after, then you may want to visit a Samsung Service center.

There's nothing wrong with the hardware, the only issue is with Samsung's customer service.
