Galaxy SI can't remember if your device supports Good Lock Modules, but if it does, download & Install "Nice Catch", it can tell you what is producing the vibration, if it an app.

Galaxy SThere's a couple of other things to try:
- Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support > Phone Diagnostics & run the Diagnostics for Vibration, see if you get any error messages?
- Go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration & to start with, Toggle Off Vibration for every category, just to see if the vibration can be stopped?
- Boot into Safe Mode, and see if it is a 3rd party app causing the vibration?

Galaxy STrying to determine if the vibration is being caused by a 3rd party app, as Safe Mode disables all 3rd party apps.
Did you run the Diagnostics for Vibration with Samsung Members Diagnostics? That would be to see there's an issue with the motor that is used to create the vibration, if there's a Hardware issue with it.
