Brand new out of box S21 camera doesn't open with an error message camera failure and Samsung keyboard keeps stopping.

Try go to Google Play Store and do updates for all your apps first. Google Android System Webview app was causing most app crashed. Just click "Update all", restart phone and try out again.

Thanks! All are up to date. I've cleared the app setting as per the website. Nothing has helped. Restarted the phone so many times as well nothing.

Okay, so that's not affected by recent app crashed problem.

Next you can try is Wipe Cache Partition"

- Power off your phone
- Press and hold vol up and power key until you are in recovery mode
- use vol up and down to navigate
- select Wipe Cache Partotion
- press power key to confirm
- click yes
- click reboot system

After reboot, try your camera and keyboard again.

No, make sure you select Wipe Cache Oartition, not Factory Reset, then all good.

So I did the wipe cache.i was on the phone with Samsung whatever the guy did there fixed the keyboard problem however the camera still not working.no warning error messages but just a blank screen

Next step,

Open Settings → Apps → Camera → Storage

Click clear data & clear cache.
This will only reset your Camera settings preference.

Anyway I tried everything next I'm just going to return the phone. This is too much work for a phone that is literally 1 day old.

That's so unfortunate for only 1 day old phone. Maybe the phone is faulty and replace a new one?
