S21 Yahoo email

Had to change my email PW on my laptop, now cannot change on my phone in the Samsung mail I enter my e mail in yahoo then my pw. Hit sign in and I get cannot validate account. I removed everything reinstalled, spoke to customer support nothing. I have to get my yahoo email via GMail app. Any ideas, I tried everything. Support was not much help.

You said you changed your yahoo email password on your laptop.

- Try using your email and password login from your laptop to see if new password working.

- If you can login, try using the same credential to login

If failed on verify, maybe try restart your phone and try again.

Yep did all that, I can log on on a different phone too. Just this S21 keeps popping " cannot validate account"?? Wish someone could figure it out, because I can't and Samsung tried remotely. Not sure the support knew what to really do.

Do you have 2-Step verification enabled for your email account with Yahoo? 

You could always try getting a text verification sent to your phone.

Hi, have you tried to remove your account on your device and re-add it again and verify?
