Hey, recently updated to one ui 6.1, S23 Ultra Canadian edition and I've been experiencing a ridiculous deal of battery drain. 5-6 Hrs of SOT was normal now I can barely get 4hrs SOT. I've read that adaptive battery needs to kick in after the update so maybe that'll save it. I've also cleared cache partition already and that hasn't helped at all.
If anyone has a solution please let me know! This was the perfect phone and it *** that this issue is present.
The update has changed the battery protection feature to multiple options. From standard 85% limit to 3 different settings to choose from. I've set mine to Maximum which has reduced from 85% to 80% when charging stops. Check if this is the case.
Guys trust me, I have been going through this for about one and a half months I tried doing so many battery calibration stuff it improved a bit but not too much..
Finally I decided to do a complete factory reset I backed up all my data to temporary Samsung Cloud which allows unlimited free storage for backup and restore.
And boy wants the phone was restored after factory reset my Ford is running like a gem now.
The battery is extremely good. From about 4 to 5 hours of screen on time, now I'm back to 7 to 8 hrs!
