Im super pissed. For some reason I noticed after the update my phone when its not in use(black screen) or turned off(black screen) I noticed looks like a cpu chip/finger sensor on my screen. I can literally see the circuit board almost. I never dropped my phone and take well care of my phone. I did the test everything works fine and even cleared the cache? Rebooted the system and still there. Please help. I highly doubt its a software issue but the system update made it show up randomly. I have a picture for it but ironically it wont

What you are seeing is the Ultrasonic Finger Print Sensor.

I've never noticed it on any of my Samsung devices, but I don't know if it's even a problem?

It may be more noticeable in some light conditions..

Hi Members_E4FPbjk,

We are sorry to hear this issue from you. Since you’ve already run tests and cleared cache, here are a few extra steps you can try:

  • Check in Safe Mode → Restart your phone in Safe Mode to confirm it’s not being caused by a third-party app or display overlay.

  • Adjust screen brightness/Extra dim → Sometimes brightness calibration can make the sensor more noticeable. Try lowering brightness or toggling “Extra dim” in accessibility.

  • Wipe cache partition → Boot into recovery mode and clear the system cache partition. This can fix odd display behaviours after updates.

If the sensor outline gets more visible over time, or if you notice actual display defects, please visit a Samsung Authorized Service Center for inspection. You can visit the below link to know the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center.

Thank you.
