I have an S23FE UI 5.1 Android 13 My Files App Version 14.5.00.15.
Can anyone confirm for me, is My Files App functional to add and locate local area network shared storage?
On my phone, I can only access Cloud Storage and Device Storage. The settings or options in My Files does not show an option to Add a network location, yet Network Storage category shows in my list along with Internal, One Drive, and Google.
Thanks maxx2000 - you inspired me. For anyone else still stuck, what I did was download the apk for Network Manager from APKMirror (.com). Installed it and Network Access now works within My Files.
The version # which I believe to be the latest is 12.2.01.281. My Files also says it's the latest version within the About screen.
Whether it will auto-update going forward should new versions be released will need to be seen.
The 'ironic' thing is the interface through My Files is a lot better than other options out there for network access (IMHO). Shame Samsung makes it such a challenge to access/use.
