Does anyone know how you can prevent reminders from adding time text in the title of a task?

For example if I add a task "call James at 4pm tomorrow" it converts the bolded text to the reminder but the title of the reminder includes the bolded text instead of just "call James"

Looking in the settings I do not see anything that would enable this functionality.

Unfortunately, there's no setting to directly prevent the time text from being included in the title when you create a reminder with a specific time.

The app generally interprets "call James at 4pm tomorrow" as a single piece of information and uses the whole string as the title when it creates the reminder.

Thank you. That is unfortunate as it's redundant information as the reminder itself triggers at that time. Seems like nice feature add.

No problem! And ya, I agree, it would indeed be a nice feature to have. Maybe they will add it sometime in the future??

I too had this issue. I would just go into the reminder and remove the link to tomorrow at 4 and sell it out, and it works..

I think the problem might in your phrasing. If I ask Bixby 'remind me a 4pm tomorrow to call James', it seems to work.

I appreciate your suggestion. It might work with Bixby but when I type that in Reminders it unfortunately still includes the full phrase in the title.

I take your point. They should just fix it in reminders.

That said, squeeze to hold dictation for Bixby and/or Google assistant(you choose) has really come a long way.

Worth a try to convert your process in this way.

Yea I can get used to it I suppose but it would be nice if the blue highlighted text was optionally included via a setting
