Galaxy SHi, we recommend you to follow the given steps.
Launch the Settings app and tap Connections → SIM card manager
• Preferred SIM card: Under Preferred SIM card. You can click on it and select the Sim card you want to activate. Specify which SIM cards you want to use for specific features, such as voice calls, when there are two cards activated.
• Auto data switching: Set the device to use another SIM card for data services if the preferred SIM card cannot connect to the network.

Galaxy SHi, we request you to generate error reports by following the below steps.
Tap and hold on samsung Members Icon and tap on Error report >> select the category from the below >> Describe the issue and check the option "send system log data" then send.

It sounds like you're having issues selecting individual SIM options for calls and data on your Samsung S22+. Unfortunately, some Canadian Snapdragon models don't allow separate SIM preferences for calls and data, even with the latest updates. This could be a regional restriction set by carriers.
