Software Updates - Downgrade

Hi Fellas,

I had a network issue on my S22 Ultra and went to repair at Yorkdale Samsung Service. 

Is it normal that after repairs, they downgrade software 6.0 -> 5.1 ?

And now I can't upgrade it.

Do you have any opinion about this?

Try this:

Go to Settings > Apps TOGGLE ON "Show System Apps" (middle right) Search for "Software Update" There's 2 of them.

Click on each one & Scroll down to "Storage" Clear BOTH Cache & Data for EACH of them & Reboot. 

Check for Software Update again.

I did, but still now, new updates have been shown.

I cleared the cache partition as well.

It should have worked.. 🤔 

Check one more thing. 

In Settings > About Phone > Status Information does it show "Official"?

If you have a computer, you could see if you get the One UI V6.0 update via Smart Switch on your computer.

I spoke with technical support, and they told me that the phone still in learning mode. It needs a couple of days to realize the system and suggest you get a new upgrade.

Thats what I was going to say. The max I waited was like 3-4 days before even old updates appeared :)

It is not. Google security patch is causing some issue so they stopped the latest update.
