Hi Fellas,
I had a network issue on my S22 Ultra and went to repair at Yorkdale Samsung Service.
Is it normal that after repairs, they downgrade software 6.0 -> 5.1 ?
And now I can't upgrade it.

Do you have any opinion about this?

No it absolutely is not what they should be doing.

What happens when you check for updates?

In Settings > About Phone > Software Information, can you post a screen shot of what is there?

There's zero reason, to Flash any previous version of the Firmware for any Network issue.

They changed motherboard and a few other components. Also, they erase everything. 1703346419439_1703346419421_0.jpg

New motherboard probably included new storage and firmware, and hence the downgrade.

You should be able to upgrade. Try plugging it into Smart Switch to see if it offers you the upgrade to Android 14 and One UI 6.

I wish I could help. You're at the mercy of Samsung.

BTW, that "learning mode" comment by technical support was BS.

Try going to Settings > Apps TOGGLE ON "Show System Apps" > Search for "Software Update" again & Clear BOTH Cache & Data for the TWO Software Update Apps AGAIN & Reboot > CHECK for Software Updates again.
