Galaxy SHello community,
I was wondering if someone's been experiencing this issue post last update (June 2024 update) however my super fast charge & my fast charge no longer works on my samsung galaxy s23+. I cleared the cache partition, did a full reset of the phone and nothing.
It sometimes does fast charging but directly switches to regular charge which is pretty annoying. I've done some researches and it seems like other members of the community is experiencing the same thing. I also checked on reddit and found a couple of other samsung users experiencing this issue.
Did anyone find a fix? Is Samsung planning to perform an update to fix this?
Thank you

Galaxy STry a different Charging Block & or Cable.
No issues with my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1 June Security Patch OTA.
Outstanding Battery life as well.

Galaxy SHi, we are sad to hear that and appreciate your efforts in trying all the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Your charging cable may have suffered unseen damage. Try charging with another different compatible cable and see if it helps.
Thank you.

Galaxy SI've already tried 5 different cables and blocks... Won't budge, super fast charging and fast charging no longer happens after the last update.

Galaxy SWell, you saw the screen shot of my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1 June Security Patch OTA, and Super Fast Charging is working properly.. So if your S23 Ultra isn't, it wasn't caused by the June Security Patch Update.
Seeing as you you said that you Wiped Cache & Factory Reset.. Either visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech, or maybe USB Charging Cable & Block #6 will work for you?

Galaxy SMy mistake, I must need more coffee.
Regardless, there's no reason I can think of, why the S23+ June Security Patch would affect Super Fast Charging.. the Security Patch Updates wouldn't touch anything related to charging speeds.

Galaxy SI was thinking the same however looks like something was done by Samsung. Initially when I was using the battery protection feature, charging would get capped at 85%. They've updated that and now for some reason my battery charge, when using the battery protection feature, is capped at 80%. Something has changed and I am wondering if a fix is coming up. I'm not the only one experiencing the fast charge / super fast charge issue, looks like other people have reported this ever since the 6.1 OneUI update was released.

Galaxy SMaybe check the Settings in Battery Protection.
There's 3 options to choose from.
As you can see from the screen shot, I don't use Battery Protection on my devices.
It's possible that Samsung's Developers decided that having a wider range, 95% - 80% made more sense to them?
Try turning OFF Battery Protection, and see if your phone will Super Fast Charge?
It's possible that Battery Protection also limits charging speeds?

Galaxy SSame here, since the update it will only fast charge the first time after a reboot, then fast charge stops working until next reboot.
