In the text messaging, is there no option(setting) to change the background anymore? I have an S9.  

P.S.  I don't like this new samsung members layout, wish they would change it back, it's way better than the new layout.

I dont believe so. I dont like the colors of the bubbles for the messages. I preferred the yellow and grey color. Unfortunately the only other way I've found is to download a 3rd party app like Textra or ect.

thx..I hate the new colour too...very hard to read. I prefer the old colors as well.

backgrounds are now a part of themes in order to keep an overall even experience when applying colours/themes
