What is the model number of your device?

You can try a couple of things.

Go to Settings > Apps Search for Samsung Pay & Click on it, Scroll down to Storage & Clear BOTH Cache & Data for the app. Reboot and test.

If you still have issues, then Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache.

Here's the instructions for both Wiping Cache & Factory Reset.

If you decide to Factory Reset, Make SURE that you have a recent backup!

Power of your device & Wait a few seconds.

Press & HOLD the Power + Volume UP buttons, until you feel the device vibrate. Release BOTH buttons & wait a couple of seconds until you see the Recovery Menu.

Use the Volume button to Scroll down to Wipe Cache & Select with the Power button.

Wait a few seconds until the Recovery Menu Defaults to "Restart Now" & Select with the Power Button.

Your device will Reboot.

Factory Reset is the same as above, but instead of Selecting Wipe Cache, you Select Wipe Data Factory Reset.

⚠️⚠️⚠️

BEFORE you Factory Reset, BACKUP your device with Smart Switch.

When your device Boots up, it will be to the Welcome screen, same as when you first received your device as new.

⚠️You'll need to know your passwords etc, So write them down if you need to⚠️

Yes, says device is rooted and I can't remember rooting my device. Used rooting apps to confirm and the apps says it's not rooted

Even if you UN-Root the device, the Knox e-fuse, Knox Flag is tripped & can not be undone.

Once a device has been Rooted, even if you remove Root, you can never return the device to it's previous state.

Likely the only option is to have a Samsung Service center replace the motherboard.

However, you could always Root it with Magisk & Flash Custom Roms.

Some Samsung apps, such as Samsung Pay, will not work.

Google Wallet / Pay may work if you use Magisk Hide.

What country are you in?

That's not a Canadian device, it is Korean.

Did you purchase it from Amazon, eBay or?

Canadian SIM or?

This is the Canadian Samsung Members site, if you didn't know.

I don't think that any Factory Reset, or Wiping Cache will fix the issue.

You could download the latest CORRECT version of Samsung's Firmware for your EXACT model number & Flash it manually with Odin.

I don't know if a Canadian Service Centre will do it for you..
