Why is my chat messages not working

So my phone has chat messages on it and I really like it but now it is automatically turning off , can someone please tell me how to fix this

What device do you have? 

If you mean, RCS, are you using Samsung's Messages app or Google Messages? 

If you are using Samsung's, switch to Google Messages. 

In Google Messages, Go to Settings > Chat Features and you should see this.

Are you using Google Messages or Samsung's, and which Carrier are you with. 

RCS functionality is also dependent on your Carrier's service. So if you still continue to have issues with RCS (Chat), and you have tried my suggestions, then contact your Carrier to verify if RCS is supported by them.

I am using Samsung's messaging app , I don't see your suggestions but I am going to get a hold of freedom mobile this afternoon

Aldo make sure your.phone is a Canadian Version not the US version as carrier software is different. I had a us model with talus and they couldn't active the chat settings as t-mobile phone had there software locked on phone. Also one more note reddograbbits photo is Google message samsung is a little different
