Flip 5 warranty void

Hi Samsung, 

If You monitor forum - please explain why You advertise Your Flip 5 reliability like this watch, but when it comes to warranty - such scratch is reason to void warranty. This is standard practice to void warranty even if issue is not related to scratches? And what about advertise reliability? Should we treat this as misleading ads not related to reality?

Hi Jurijs, we really feel very sorry about your device.

We would like to inform you that, Samsung provides 12 months of manufacturer warranty and the unit must be purchased from a Samsung authorized Canadian retailer.

The unit  must not have any physical/cosmetic Damages for it to be covered by the Samsung one year limited parts and labor manufacturers warranty.

My first impression was the device was dropped. Shock can damage various components on a phone. You shoukd protect the phone in a case and or purchase extended warranty that covers accidents. Sorry for your problems.
I had a couple flip phones back in the day and had nothing but problems. I am too rough with such delicate devices.
