Add Mods

I brought this up before and I'm sure others have as well, but I think it's time Samsung has a few "mods" for the samsung members or even "trusted members" that has the power to hide posts that then the manager (steve or others) can review and either make it public again or deleted the thread. this would help and prevent threads of inappropriate things like n udity and such. since there are younger kids here

Exactly what I was thinking. Other forums already have these types of things. Members should be given "Mentor" or "Mod" status. People who have been here for a long time and know a thing or two about Samsung products. Not saying I should be one but there should definitely be member mods for when the main mod and Steven aren't around for instances like this post. I told you not to look ;-;

That's a thing in other Samsung Members forums around the world, including the US Samsung+ Community. It didn't backfire. Absolutely no reasons not to implement it. That would be an awesome incentive into being an active (and loyal) member.

I also suggest to implement some sort of "rank" system to that end, like in the other said forums. Be helpful to others and get rewarded that way (maybe exclusive giveaways too?) with higher recognition. Acheive a certain level and you can be some kind of mod (but never replace actual mods, we need you Jenna, Wonchul and Nick!). As I said, this is done in many many forums and it helps them being clean.

Videotron give you a rank but doesn't give any gift for helping each other, Me i go to Videotron forum because everything is in French compare to Samsung member and Videotron give you the chance to win some products like they have given the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and why when you are helpful to others you have to receive a gift ? Just helping someone it's a very good giveaway. We can help someone without being recognized or receiving a gift, me just to helping someone make me feel good that's is a very GREAT gift for me.

@Alain81 most on here already help because we love samsung and are somewhat tech savvy and major don't expect anything in return. through through the members app, there are random giveaways, and contests for products even phones! As well as trips like the unpacked even in Barcelona, in New York, and there was a contest just for Quebec to to go Montreal and see Tony hawk.

this is a good suggestion and one we are actively working on. Stay Tuned and there will be an update related to both a status/achievement level and rewards as well as a form of Moderation capabilities for a select few.
