instagram using your camera without you using it

Hey I have been getting alot of messages saying instagram has been using my camera without me using it which is pretty creepy, and this is happening on my note 9. Could instagram be stalking me?

it's just it's detecting using my camera so many times

happened to me too with Instagram and snapchat. I just turned off the notification

Just turnip off the Notification doesn't mean that those apps don't have access.

Happening all the time with me and Snapchat too. I have a Note 9 too but has it occurred on my S8+ as well. It's pretty dodgy.

Don't use either - But if you want to use them - Deny permission to use the Camera - Storage etc & only allow temporarily when YOU want to post something - Remember to go back & Deny power when you're done.... Creepy if you ask me...

Exactly what I started to do with them. It's completely random as to when and where.
