Just read the news, Microsoft announce some new devices. The most interesting devices are Neo and Duo.

Surface Neo running on Windows X, double screens with keyboard.

Surface Duo

More interesting, double screen and foldable phone, running Android system. Seems like compete with Samsung Fold.

Looks like other companies start stepping into foldable devices. Samsung fold needs to improve more. But these devices will not available until 2020 Fall. Samsung Fold still has a year to catch up.

Micosoft has this concept many years ago (before surface). But somehow they stopped the develop. Maybe they saw Samsung start foldable phone line, now they step in again. 🤔

Not really a foldable screen... rather a near bezeless dual screen approach which would make it more durable than the current generation of foldable screens.

That's legit cool. I think this design will work better in the short term for foldables. The Fold is an awesome tech dream come true but not really a fully usable product due to obvious problems such as scratches, failure of mechanical parts, much needed Ingress protection against dust...

It depends on how duable of the hinge. But when I saw it in youtube, the guy open, close, flip on his hand looks pretty smooth. So agree that this design works good in short term.
