I agree you were right about it not being a Canadian device but considering what the post was about there should have never been a discussion about getting it already in Canada

I'm thinking that it's a US model.

Nothing has been released by Samsung in Canada yet.

I have heard that *APPARENTLY* if Samsung has the OTA available in your country already, but just not pushed, there's UNVERIFIED reports that if you change the device's system date to December 1st, and Reboot, Check for the OTA.. That SOME people have *CLAIMED* to be able to get the update.. But it's *UNVERIFIED*!

EVERYONE with the S22 series, feverishly changing the date on their devices 😂

But do let us know if it works...but I am doubtful.

So....as per this post and today being October 31st, my S22 should already have One UI 5.0?

100% incorrect as the major carriers (Rogers, Bell, Telus) has already announced it will be on November 5th.
This post may confuse others so just wanted to correct :)

This is what telus has posted for their update. I am with Bell but can never find an update schedule. The telus schedule always works for me.Screenshot_20221101-094323_Chrome.jpg

You can't find Bell's OS Update Schedule, because they don't make one publicly available. You may want to contact Bell and ask them why they don't.

Not that it would make any difference, as all the Canadian Carriers OTAs are released by Samsung's Servers.

Of course not a Canadian model, all makes sense now....

To update the A series and leave the Note series for later.. this is very funny. There is no date yet for the Galaxy Note 10+ and 10+ 5G. Why do we need 12Gb of ram then when the update goes further to those models that have 6-8Gb of ram. We paid a lot for the Note series..I can't understand Samsung's policy.
