Good news. My 11yo hooked up my phone to a PC and used ADB to install the previous stock Pay framework version (v4.0.41).

I then proceeded to download Samsung pay normally and all is working again (still no wallet, however.)

BUT, I'll wager that you don't need any silly boarding passes, which may be a good thing, as currently Boarding passes are only supported by Korean Air ✈

What worked for me:

Clear cache of anything related to Samsung pay or pass in settings.
Clear Samsung store cache.
Boot into recovery, clear cache.

Samsung wallet should appear after the next reboot in the Samsung store.
