No sound notification when receiving texts. all other notifications have sound.

Is it only for text messages you are not receiving notification?

What are you using for your text messages? Android messages, samsung messages?

Please also check yout notification settings for that app, and make sure notificaitons is enabled.

Settings -> Apps -> Messages -> Notifications -> Enable all the categories (if not already enabled)

Yes it is only when receiving texts, all other notifications have audio. I believe I'm using Samsung message app. I checked those settings and everything is seems to good. Still no sounds.

by any chance are you also using a smart watch?

If so, make sure "mute phone notifications" is not enabled

Next you can also try wiping your cache for the messaging app as well.

I am using a smart watch. Would I find that setting in the gear wearable app or the message app?

I've had this watch for a few months and this just started happening.
