Does Samsung offer a firewall for their phones? If not why ? as all other operating systems do.

Hi SamSungtwo,
For Samsung, security is a central part of our process and who we are. We’ve spent years perfecting our Knox security platform to provide the privacy you can trust in an uncertain world filled with looming threats and security breaches. Our mobile devices are designed with defense-grade security from the chip up, so your device is secured by Knox from the moment you first turn it on. Samsung Knox is a leading mobile security solution that provides a secure environment for corporate data and apps for all Galaxy devices.
Every Knox device is built from the hardware chip up to isolate, encrypt, and secure your data including confidential files, credit card transactions, passwords, and health data so you can protect everything you care about.

Knox only protects apps & data that are in the secure folder  from what is stated in the link below.

That does not answer my question. A firewall prevents or allows specific network communications. As an example if I do not want Bixby to access the internet through wifi or cell service can I prevent that operation?

I think RedDogRabbit is right, I think it's only secure folder items not the whole device. can you confirm that this is true?

there is too much sharing of software in android to soley depend or expect samsung to be responsible although this does allow security features, customizable preferences, terms and policies to be shared across platforms/brands.

That it not an excuse. Both Apple and Microsoft provide firewalls for there products. A phone is a communications device that should also have this option to allow or deny apps to only access the internet when allowed.
