Since update Jan 1 2024 to ONE UI 5.1 the 3rd party Google Play app NCL for Norwegian Cruise Line is now showing a black screen when opening on Galaxy SM-A515W phone. The same app Rel version is working ok on Samsung Galaxy Tab E.

Can you try to clear the app cache? Sometimes that can help. You can follow the steps in this video. Also be sure to check if the NCL app is fully up to date and doesn't have any pending updates.

I've got the problem with my 2 Samsung A51, i think the only way to figure out the problem is to lab-test using same model of SM-A515W phone using NCL Rel version1.8.1 and debug the code from ONE UI 5.1

Which app version do you have btw? I just downloaded it, version 1.8.1 on my S25 Ultra and it works so if you have the same app version, then yea, it's something specific to your phones.

I've tried all précieuse suggestion, NCL app support says it's à Samsung problem and Samsung sans it's an app problem!

Sorry I noticed you already said you are on 1.8.1.

I'm inclined to believe NCL since their 1.8.1 also works on my end, so it must be a setting or configuration on the phone. Have you tried uninstalling the app completely, restarting your phone, then reinstalling the app btw? You can also try to clear the app data instead of just the app cache to see what happens.

Yes i did try all the above as I used to work as a system administrator so I have some knowledge about communication technologies.

I think it's realy up to Samsung engineering staff to lab-test and reproduce the condition
