Just a general question, while delivering this morning using my AKG headphones with my note 8, why is it there isn't the option on the headphones to skip songs but only pause and volume? I find it annoying that I have to keep taking my phone out of my pocket to advance a song if I don't like it. @Nick any suggestions?

Yup it's kind of ridiculous that you can't use the Volume keys on the device to skip music tracks (something where Custom Roms are definitely better) But there's an app from the Play Store that I use to skip music tracks using the volume buttons on the phone - You don't have to remove the phone from your pocket either - It's called Frinky Music Controller - It's not been updated since 2016 but it works fine on my S8+ and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work for you on the Note 8 🐧

that's weird but I always skip tracks by double pressing the middle button and it works

oh yes, this was one feature I really really miss on the blackberry, you could long press volume up to skip track or long press on volume down to go back one track.
Really wish Samsung could implement this on the headphones, or the device as well.
It would be really cool to see!!

I'm using Sennheiser Momentum earbuds and while skipping tracks does work - it's FAR more awkward than the Volume buttons - It's a pretty basic feature and it's beyond me why it's not available on Stock Samsung? 🐧

Here are some additional possibilities for skipping music tracks - I haven't tried any other than Frinky 🐧

Yeah just double click the pause/play button and it'll skip the track. I know my old Samsung headphones also had a triple tap feature to go back a song but I'm not sure if they've removed that.

Hey @czamek1980! As @Emperor and @Jonathan34 mentioned, there are following features on ther AKG in-ear headphones.
- Single click: pause / play music
- Double click: Skip the current song and play next song
