I have always just trusted Samsung software updates and would update as soon as they would get pushed. Well, for Android 11, UI 3.0, I'm not happy about losing the two separate Dual SIM1 + SIM2 buttons for calls and messages. Lesson learned, so next time I will thoroughly review software update features details on what features are new, corrected and removed before actually updating.
So with a factory reset, I was able to roll back my Note10+ to Android 10, UI 2.5 and security patch dated Dec 2020 as I'm waiting for Samsung to fix some issues in Android 11, UI 3.0.
For now, I have PAUSED downloading the update....(see attached screenshot)....So the question is when Samsung eventually releases a future updates ie. UI 3.x or say Android 12, will my device receive those software update notifications? Or will it not until I complete download/install UI 3.0 first?
I can ofcourse avoid the install, but is it recommended to atleast resume and complete the download? Aporeciate any guidance and best practices while waiting on Samsung.
