Just received the new Note 20 Ultra and must say I'm quite happy so far. I've owned every single Note since the Note 2. One thing I need to mention is I'm happy the buttons were moved back to the right side but please stop moving them around! Also, it's perplexing why you moved the Spen to the left side of the phone? Majority of the planet is right handed and it was there for every single previous Note. Not cool. Other than that I'm continuing to play around and find all the new features. Hopefully Samsung listens to its most loyal users which I believe they do.

It has to do with the internal spacing and ID (Industrial Design). Usually, there's a lot of compromises when designing a product.

Find it hard to believe that the swapping of the power and volume buttons was because of internal spacing. Especially how iPhone and other top power devices have never changed their button location. That might be the case with the S-pen but again it's the first time ever in a Note they changed the location. Hope they keep the buttons on the right side moving forward..

Perhaps because the S pen is now on the left they had to move the buttons to the right side

Yea, pulled the SPen out, sPen longer than power button position. Has to move to left side for more spacing I guess.

They moved it because of the camera location.

my favorite configuration would be volume rockers on one side, and bixby key on the opposing... i seem to hit the bixby key in search of the volume down too often

Hi Yielar, We want a cohesive design identity across all our Galaxy flagship devices. To make that happen with the Note, we had to change the location of Volume and Power key from left to the right, and as a result the location of the S Pen also changed accordingly.

We already forwarded your suggestion and YES, Samsung always listens to its users. Have a nice day.
